ARMED FORCES SHOOTOUT angler dASHBOARD

The AFS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit fishing tournament dedicated to celebrating our American Heroes and raising critical funds to prevent veteran suicide. 100% AFS proceeds benefit the Bird's Eye View Project. Sportfish yachts from around the world will generously host the field of Armed Forces anglers for two-days if offshore sportfishing — providing the thrilling experience of marlin and meat fishing in the beautiful Bahamas. 

The Armed Forces Shootout provides roundtrip flight transportation from South Florida to the Bahamas, and back, as well as all hotel accommodations, meals and an open bar throughout the entire weekend (including regular coffee, breakfast sandwiches, lunch/apps, and gourmet dinner meals). Anglers are responsible for transportation to and from South Florida (airport TBD) to depart for the provided flight to the Bahamas. The AFS will provide transportation from the Marsh Harbour, Bahamas airport to the hotel/marina. *See significant other FAQ below

The AFS welcomes spouses and significant others ONLY - at your own expense. While we would love to host an (completely) open event, our #1 goal is raising funds for the Bird's Eye View Project's critical mission to prevent veteran suicide. Therefore, we do welcome spouses and significant others - at the angler's expense. Angler's that choose to bring your spouse, will be required to book your own hotel room (for you and your spouse) at Abaco Beach Resort, at a discounted rate provided by the Resort. Hotel rooms paid for by the AFS are strictly for Armed Forces angler use. Spouses are also responsible for their flight transportation. *WE ASK THAT ALL SPOUSE FLIGHT TRANSPORTATION IS DONE ONLY UPON COMPLETION OF THE ANGLER FLIGHT RESERVATIONS. 

Part of what makes this event special is the camaraderie. We ask that you kindly wait to make flight arrangements for spouses after the AFS has reserved the angler flights, so that we can ensure that all anglers can travel together on the same flight. A confirmation will be sent to all anglers once the reservation is complete, to notify you when you should book any additional flight transportation.
