Registration for the 2026 Armed Forces Shootout opens January 1

Team Registration is a U.S. 501(c)(3) tax-dedutible donation.

REGISTRATION INCLUDES:

• Six (6) tickets to all tournament dinners and open bar (each night of the tournament). Additional tickets may be purchased, $175/ticket, includes all tournament events
• Six (6) Tournament Shirts. Additional shirts may be purchased at the tournament
• Boat gift bag

Each year, 20–25 boat owners and crews volunteer their vessels to host 30+ active-duty and veteran anglers for two unforgettable days of offshore fishing in the Abacos, Bahamas.  Your crew, your boat, and your generosity make it possible for these men and women to experience the thrill of sportfishing and the power of community — at absolutely no cost to them.

The Armed Forces Shootout is an Armed Forces Angler Only tournament. 

All anglers participating in the event are active-duty members or U.S. Armed Forces veterans, invited and approved by the Armed Forces Shootout Committee following a formal vetting process. The AFS Committee will assign up to three (3) Armed Forces Anglers to each participating vessel.

Points will only be awarded to official AFS-approved anglers, as defined by the tournament committee.

This structure ensures the focus remains where it belongs — on the camaraderie between our American heroes and the sportfishing teams who volunteer their time, boats, and passion to honor them.

Trophies are awarded to the top Armed Forces anglers and the top overall boat.
